We came to Alaska nearly 30 years ago at the tail end of a year-long bicycle trip across North America. Originally from Central Minnesota, we had no trouble adapting to the climate here, and love being surrounded by mountains and wildlife! As artists and musicians, Alaska’s beautiful scenery and encouraging community fill us with inspiration at every turn!
Candace Cahill is a silversmith, musician, and writer, and Tom Lux is a wood, bone, and ivory worker. Together, we are Thomas Cahill Designs. We work closely on most projects, feeding off each other's input. We also play music together, love hiking, and adventure travel.
